FLIGHT INSTRUCTION:
Flying an airplane is somewhat more complex than driving a car because you are controlling altitude (up and down) in addition to left-right movement. It is also more exhilarating because you have the freedom of three-dimensional movement, greater speed, and unbelievable panoramas. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is the federal government agency which governs pilot privileges and requires specific flight experience. This experience includes a knowledge (written) test, and a practical (flight) test to earn a pilot's license. All of these requirements can be met through the completion of flight training at Roadhouse Aviation.
At Roadhouse Flying School, we currently offer instruction for the private pilot and instrument rating, as well as limited commercial pilot training. Not sure if flying is for you? You can go for an introductory flight for only $59. For information on the costs to get a private pilot certificate, view this brochure. For information, you can call Dave Williams at 918-230-5204, or email ..
ON-LINE FLIGHT SCHEDULING
Roadhouse Aviation is proud to introduce on-line aircraft scheduling for our rental pilots and student pilots. This new service will give our pilots access to pilot links, weather links, on-line flight calculators, printable flight plans, and best of all enable them to schedule our aircraft, flight instructors, and other resources on-line.
Scheduling is intuitive and user-friendly. It's extremely easy to make flight reservations on-line. In fact, a first time user should be able to make a reservation in less than a minute, with no help. This is why we let you choose from three different types of schedules. You can access a month schedule, week schedule, or a day schedule. In addition to these standard schedules, you can create your own.
We encourage all customers to use our On-Line Scheduling, but if you schedule a plane for same-day rental, please call the Flight School at 230-5204 to let us know.
New pilots should Click here to Register for this on-line scheduling service.
